Hi everyone.
We are away for nearly 2 weeks 17th to the 31st May. We have several projects in development that are near completion. We won't be starting any new projects, designs or redesigns until after we return.
Updates and site changes will continue as normal.

New Server.
We had to relocate over 150 websites onto a new upgraded server about a month ago. This process went smoothly for most customers. We did have the odd glitch and I am grateful to the people affected for your patience during sorting out the lumps and bumps!

We are getting many more people using the CMS system for minor editing and access. It has proved to be much more popular than I thought.

New developments
New designs
We are in the process of providing a wider range of design choices. I had hoped to get these options advertised before we went away but it will be after we get back now. We will email you when we have further news on this.

New Secure Prescription system
We have a new system in development, again it will be a one or two months before we can offer this for general release.
(Just a reminder to those practices who continue to use an unsecured form to email submission of patient data that we would recommend switching to a secure system.)

Problems
The secure form system by default remembers information which was previously entered by the user. Patients (on the whole) are pleased as they don't have to type in repeat items into the boxes. The system has raised a few questions.

Christmas arrangements
We try to have a break over the holiday period and don’t take on any new designs from the 6th of December and only make very urgent changes between Christmas and New Year. Otherwise it is business as usual!

Unsecured prescriptions
We recommend you don’t use unsecured forms for patient data. This would include prescriptions requests and change of details forms. Contact us for more details about our secure prescription option.

The increase in our work over the past year has allowed us to expand. We have taken on extra support services backed up by Green Frog Computing a local Chesterfield IT company.

Many of you will have already had your recent website changes and updates done by Rob (our son who is home over the holidays from Leicester University).

From September 2009 Rhian will be with us to make your website changes and updates.
