Q Why can't I change everything?
A. The system is very powerful but we would suggest you try small changes first. The system can undo your editing steps so you can roll back what you try. The CMS system is to allow you to make changes more directly and quickly, although we will continue to do your updates within 24 hours.

Q. What is a content management system?
A. CMS (content management system) is a way of simply changing or updating the information on your own website from any PC with simple word editing skills.

Q. Where do I login to edit my own website?
A. You can login using this webpage: http://www.internet-gp.com/cmslogin.htm from any location.

Q. I have lost my login details, how do I retrieve them?
A. If you have forgotten your details please email us at sitechanges@greengp.co.uk we normally will reset your password for security purposes.

Q. Can I change everything on the website with CMS?
A. No. Only designated areas, usually text, can be modified using the CMS. You can make hyperlinks, add graphics and upload files (pdf, publisher, word documents etc). More detailed style, design and structure changes will need to be discussed with us. We can make these changes quickly.

Q. How much does the CMS cost?
A. We charge £49+VAT annually. The CMS feature needs a special program license and extra work to add the CMS HTML to each of your webpages.

Q. I am still stuck.... what do I do now?
A. Although you have purchased this CMS feature for your website we will still undertake the changes for you. So we can either help you through the CMS problem you have found or we will make the change for you. There is no extra charge for this.

Here are a few pointers about the Content Management System (CMS)

The software allows you to login from any PC.
When you start we enable a few pages on your own website for you to try the CMS software. You are sent an email from 
no-reply@edit-content.com so please check that you don't miss this or treat it as spam or junk mail. We normally send your access details within 24 hours of your request so please get back to us if you have not received your login email within that time.

We would advise that you take care if you don't know what you are doing and use the undo feature that can restore or undo any changes or mistakes you make.

This service is particularly suited to changing Latest News pages, or the headlines on your home page. We will still continue to update your website for you, making changes, adding pages or the alterations you don't have time for.

The system is not suitable for making navigation changes or page layout modifications.

TIPS.
You may have to refresh your page after logging into the account (press Ctrl+F5)

We charge £49+VAT per annum for this feature as it is licensed software and it involves work to prepare your website for editing by the CMS.
